Twisted Pixel was formed in early 2006 by a passionate team of industry veterans armed with innovative ideas for how games can be made more accessible and distinctly more fun.
Twisted Pixel is an independent studio that specializes in character-driven, original
IP titles that shake up what games are all about. Memorable characters, creative
gameplay, and impressive presentation is our focus.
Twisted Pixel is a registered developer for the following platforms:

JOSH BEAR :: Chief Creative Officer
After making numerous independent films and graduating from Ringling School of Art
and Design with a BFA in Illustration, Josh moved to Chicago to join High-Voltage
Software's design teams. Josh's unmatched knowledge of games and films, as well
as his extreme and infectious passion, made him one of the company's most respected
and demanded designers. Josh co-founded Twisted Pixel Games to work on innovative
titles that demonstrate creativity and excellence.
JOHN BODEK :: Director of IT
John graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Computer Science. Most recently
developing medical software for Siemens, he now works as a game-play developer as
well as Director of IT for Twisted Pixel Games. John is thrilled to be working with
such a talented group on his first title, which will be announced soon.
SEAN CONWAY :: Designer
Sean graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a Bachelor Degree in business.
A life long gamer, he now works as a designer for Twisted Pixel Games. Sean is enjoying
working on his first title, which will be announced soon.
BRANDON FORD :: Lead Concept
Bio coming soon....
MIKE HENRY :: Lead Engineer
Mike Henry developed an addiction to programming games at age 8 on his Apple IIe.
Despite his parents' repeated intervention attempts, his fixation continued into
adulthood, eventually leading him to trade a mostly-completed pre-med degree for
a BS in Computer Science at the University of Michigan. Since then, he has spent
7 years in the industry as a programmer and lead programmer. He shows no signs of
rehabilitation.
ALEX JONES :: Level Design Intern
In 2008 Alex graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio with
a BA in Psychology. He enjoys applying a variety of subjects to game design including
psychology, art, architecture, history and philosophy. In his early years, Alex designed
games on paper, creating board games and countless levels for his
favorite games like Mario, Sonic and Doom. Alex made the transition to the PC to
create custom maps for Warcraft 2, Age of Empires, and Starcraft, before jumping into
3D with the original Unreal, Unreal Tournament, and Gears of War.
DAVID LEUNG :: Art Director/Lead Artist
After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he received a full
scholarship for his art portfolio, Dave acquired his first game industry job at
High Voltage Software in 1999. That first job turned into a career quickly rising
to Lead Artist ranks, and over the course of 10 years released a multitude of titles
including Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, Hunter: The Reckoning and Ben 10:
Protector of Earth. Dave has been playing and studying games and movies
since he was 5 years old and brings that wealth of knowledge and experience into
his work.
SEAN RILEY :: Lead Designer
Unable to remember names, directions, or any other crucial information necessary
for day-to-day existence, Sean's brain somehow retains the cost of a Silver Sword
in Final Fantasy 1 (4000g, purchased in Elfland) and all sorts of other useless
factoids related to his one true passion. He recalls climbing his first shadowy
colossus with far greater clarity than milestones in his life like birthdays or
graduations. His love for games is matched only by his gratitude toward his friends
and loved ones for gently nudging him along on the path of survival. He'd thank
them by name, except, well, y'know...
MICHAEL WILFORD :: Chief Executive Officer
In 2001, Michael graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Computer Science
and a minor in math. After graduation, Michael attended his third SIGGRAPH conference,
where he was approached by High-Voltage Software with a programming position. Michael
accepted and helped the company build new technologies and ship seven retail titles.
When Michael saw the opportunity in early 2006 to partner up with Josh Bear and
Frank Wilson to make next-generation games as Twisted Pixel, he jumped at the chance
and never looked back.
FRANK WILSON :: Chief Technology Officer
Frank graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Computer Science with a minor in Math. After working at Zefer for 2 years, helping
to turn a fledgling startup to a multimillion dollar corporation, Frank joined High
Voltage where he became regarded as one of the best software engineers in the industry
by those that work with him. After 5 years, Frank moved on to cofound Twisted Pixel
in order to apply his efforts to the challenge of starting a game development company.
Since 2006, Frank has served as Twisted Pixel's Chief Technology Officer by designing
and implementing all new technology efforts.
